Enrique Jabiguero, or Ricky for short, has joined our sales force as Area Sales Manager for Luzon. He will also be handling certain key accounts for the company in the poultry and livestock industry. A graduate from the University of the Philippines, Los Baños with a degree in Animal Science, Ricky handled key account poultry sales for Big Dutchman. Before that, he was with San Miguel Corporation for more than 20 years, successively as Broiler Production Specialist, Investor Relation Specialist, and Business Development Specialist. In Barili Cebu: Installation of a 20,000 layer capacity TECNO Atlanta A-Frame System, in 2 rows and 4 tiers, with feeding and watering system, manure belt system and egg collection system. In General Santos City: Installation of 60,000 layer capacity TECNO Universal H-Type system, complete with feeding and watering systems, egg collection system, manure collection system, climate controlled systems, egg conveyor to the egg room, and state of the art computer controlled system. We even installed the very convenient inspection trolley.

Late last year, ROTECNA and VEMAVAL together installed a trial order of 60 units of the DOSITRONIC Electronic Feeding System in a farrowing house in a 2,000 sow modern farm in Batangas. Since then, the farm has been able to reduce feed wastage by dispensing only the right amount of feed for each sow, among other benefits. The system monitors and controls feed distribution to each and every farrowing sow for its individual needs. Each farrowing crate is fitted with an electronic device which dispenses feeds according to pre-programmed quantities. The device is also fitted with a sensor which the sow triggers in order to be dispensed her feed ratio. The farm has benefitted from the following: Reduced feed wastage; optimize feed consumption for each sow resulting in healthier piglets and decreased weaning time, reduced manpower in the farrowing house; monitoring can be done 24/7 through linked computers; computer data analysis helps the farm owners make informed decisions. Vemaval Inc. is happy to announce the appointment of Christian P. Dizon as National Sales Manager of our Agri Engineering division. Christian has more than 20 years of experience in the Sales and Business Development of Farm products and high-end Farm equipment specially for the poultry market not only in the Philippines, but also in the Southeast and South Asia market. His last position before joining Vemaval was managing the Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka markets for AGCO. As we start offering new technology and equipment to the livestock farming sector, Christian will be able to help our clients from farm conceptualization and design, through equipment installation, all the way to project start-up and operations. Together with the growth of the livestock industry in the Philippines, we will continue to scale up our activities and strengthen our sales team nationwide to help our customers grow their businesses!

The spread of the AFS in the Philippines and the outbreak of the COVID 19 virus did not deter the International Farmers Summit Philippines 2020 from pushing through. So yes, between February 12 - 14, Vemaval Incorporated participated for the first time in the Farmer's Summit as a Silver sponsor. Vemaval put on display its feeding and other technical equipment for Poultry and Livestock, showcasing state of the art technology such as ROTECNA's Dositronic, show on the right . Among the equipment put on display were automatic cage laying systems by TECNO from Italy, Poultry Feeding Systems by SKA, also in Italy, Piggery Products from Spanish Company ROTECNA, and WASTE SPPECTRUM's animal carcass incineration systems from the UK. Saturday, October 26, 2019: VEMAVAL finished commissioning 2 units of WASTE SPECTRUM’s VOLKAN 150 Animal Carcass Incinerators at the Quarantine Services Division of the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI). The testing and commissioning proved that when animal carcasses, food, and other organic substances are incinerated, virtually no emissions were observed. VEMAVAL INC has been working closely with Dr. Emil Contreras of BAI, as well as Engr. Dante Vergara of the Environment and Biotechnology Division of the Industrial Technology Development Institute of DOST, headed by Engr. Reynaldo Esguerra, for WASTE SPECTRUM’s Environmental Technology Verification certificates.

Last July 14 - 17, 2019, Dan and Vinchu Lapid, together with Alice Hernandez and Joey Alim, attended the Waste Spectrum Distributor Conference, and attended training sessions on the sales and service of Animal Carcass and Waste Incinerators. The trip also gave the Vemaval team an opportunity to meet Waste Spectrum Distributors from other countries and exchange information as well as learn from their experiences.
