Blind Slats is a key element for the provision of multiple combinations. Designed to be located under feeders to recover the wasted feed, under sows to minimize injuries to shoulders and udders and weaners to avoid draught free areas.
The semi-blind slat combines the open and closed areas in a slat which is unique on the market, as it eliminates the need for a supporting beam in the place.
The open area is one of transition between the mother and the piglets, increasing piglets grip when suckling. The blind area creates a draught-free rest area for the piglets.
